Our product is a standardized extract of Promunel Organic Propolis, manufactured by B Natural of Italy.
Organic Propolis, in Organic glycerin 1 ounce glass bottle with dropoper. We recommend 20 drops per day which provides 12 milligrams of polyphenols. You can take the drops directly in your mouth or mix with honey.
20 drops will roughly fill 1/4 teaspoon. We take it directly but you can mix with honey.
Propolis is one of the old-time "health food" products that is making a strong comeback. Propolis has a traditional healing history in ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman history.
The word propolis originates from the Greek, pro (in front of, at the entrance to) and polis (community or city) to mean before the city or in defense of the city. In English, propolis means “bee-glue” which is a natural wax-like substance found in bee hives where it is used by honeybees as cement and to seal cracks or open spaces.
A beehive is like a city with 50,000 inhabitants living in 90% humidity and an internal temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Propolis is the beehive’s immune system, nature’s literal superfood that keeps pathogens at bay, even though they normally thrive in hot and humid environments.
Propolis protects the hive, not only by sealing off crevices, but, also, it is a natural antiseptic to prevent microbial infection of larvae, honey stores and the combs.

There are no added sugars, sweeteners or flavors to our organic Propolis liquid extract which is in organic glycerin (not alcohol). Propolis does not have sugars that exist in honey: the taste is fine to us, but, if you do not like it, you can always put it in food or honey. We’ve experimented with Manuka honey, and you can barely taste the propolis.
