Carotec's S-Acetyl-Glutathione (SAG) is designed to increase glutathione levels more efficiently compared to "reduced" glutathione and N-Acetyl-Cysteine. Even if you already take Alpha Lipoic Acid, incorporating SAG into your regimen can provide additional support.
We understand that many of you have been seeking "glutathione" supplements. However, it's important to exercise caution. Regular "reduced" glutathione supplements are poorly absorbed because they are not directly taken up by our cells. Instead, they need to be broken down into amino acids and re-synthesized into reduced glutathione. Additionally, reduced glutathione is not the most stable compound. Absorption of reduced glutathione becomes even more challenging when the body is under excessive stress due to the multiple steps required to make it viable as a supplement. SAG overcomes this problem by being a lipid-like compound that is easily absorbed and transported into tissues.
